Life is too short...

I woke up this morning with the news that Whitney Houston has died. I am devastated. She was my childhood idol. I remember belting out the words when my mother used to play it, thinking I was an amazing singer…far from true.

It also comes after hearing the news that my sisters friend died in an awful car accident yesterday. I met him this December at a New Years party. He was only 18…

It just puts into perspective how short life is. We must live everyday to the best of our ability. Don't hold back. Go for it. You never know when your day will come…

The Parlotones...

I just went to a Frightened Rabbit gig at the Picturehouse in Edinburgh. It was fab. Scottish bands are pretty something. However, no one can beat my fav South African band, The Parlotones. Today is a good day...

Hip hip horray! I eventually got myself a job! I was slowly loosing the will, but bingo, I landed myself one in a bar right by my flat. Perfect! Onwards and upwards! Ax

Go away homesickness…

I just wish this homesickness would go away once and for all. It didn't take me this long last year to get over it. Its just burdening me now. Ahhhh. I am not one to give up so why do I keep thinking about dropping out of uni. I have to stick it out until the end of 3rd year at least otherwise the last few years would all just have been a waste…

Who's that girl...

Absolutely loving this new series on Channel 4 called 'New Girl'. It stars the actress from 500 Days of Summer, Zooey Deschanel. She is fab in it. So so funny. Just makes me happy when I watch it because we all don't have to be perfect to be loved :)
