Life is too short...

I woke up this morning with the news that Whitney Houston has died. I am devastated. She was my childhood idol. I remember belting out the words when my mother used to play it, thinking I was an amazing singer…far from true.

It also comes after hearing the news that my sisters friend died in an awful car accident yesterday. I met him this December at a New Years party. He was only 18…

It just puts into perspective how short life is. We must live everyday to the best of our ability. Don't hold back. Go for it. You never know when your day will come…

The Parlotones...

I just went to a Frightened Rabbit gig at the Picturehouse in Edinburgh. It was fab. Scottish bands are pretty something. However, no one can beat my fav South African band, The Parlotones. Today is a good day...
